Jonathon Charles Big & Tall Menswear started life in 1987 as Mr. Big with the objective of providing a service for the retail of men's clothes for Big & Tall men. The company recently decided on a change in trading name due to the demand from customers seeking a modern and fashionable designer feel to products being purchased.
Jonathon Charles Big & Tall Menswear is a family run and owned business priding itself on the necessity for close attention to detail and meeting customer expectations.
Such was the success of the company's first outlet that growth has seen the business gradually develop into a small-medium sized enterprise consisting of 6 shops plus an additional purpose built centralised distribution centre. New locations for expansion are continuously being sought with particular emphasis on the convenience of parking and availability of public transport services for target market customers at potential locations.
Today we design and manufacture over 75% of the clothes we sell in our shops covering a range of both traditional and fashionable items of clothing suitable for those of all ages including a variety of styles of shoes.
At Jonathon Charles Big & Tall Menswear we strive to make shopping an enjoyable experience through the competency of our shop managers. All managers and their teams are trained to provide the best standard of service expected from the customer through thorough familiarisation with their products.
Future improvements scheduled to make shopping a more comfortable experience for our customers include the introduction of air conditioning to our Nottingham and Sheffield outlets.
